How do I access the community?
It's hosted on a site called Circle. You can access via desktop or the app (both Apple and Android)
How do I access the online courses?
These are hosted on Teachable. You can watch the videos via your desktop or the app (Apple only at this stage)
Can I cancel? What if I don't like the community, can I get a refund?
You can cancel your membership anytime you need. It's a monthly recurring charge (you'll be automatically charged each month unless you cancel).
Due to the digital nature of the courses and the community, I don't offer a refund. Try today for only $5, with an ongoing cost of $10.

What are the courses I get?
Each month I add new video courses and tutorials. As well as add to the stitch library. Currently there are courses for making a tote bag with French seams, a fabric book cover, and stitches such as running, French knots, blanket stitch, seed stitch and more.
You'll also learn about a quilter's knot, how to 'needle your thread', and how to cut your Sashiko thread.
What time zone are the zoom calls in?
I live in Australia, but there are members from all over the world. Currently the zoom calls are at 10am on a Saturday, Sydney, Australia time. This is approx 8pm Friday in New York (EDT) and 1am Saturday in London (BST).
The calls are recorded so you can watch any time that suits you.
I will introduce more calls to suit different timezones as need be.
Is this for beginners? What about if I'm more advanced?
The main reason people join Stitch Circle Community is for the online community, so beginners and advanced stitchers love it. You'll find advice from others and be inspired by different creatives. Everyone is welcome.
The online courses have a variety of projects and skill levels (though always perfect for beginners to try). I share my work in a way that inspires you to do things you're own way. So many advanced creatives learn new ways of making from my process.
How long do I have to access the tutorials and courses?
As long as you're a paying member you can access all the content. It stays in the Teachable site. Which means you can watch past month's tutorials and wait for upcoming projects.
The courses aren't downloadable, as this is a monthly subscription. This means that if you cancel your subscription you'll lose access to the content.
But I do have lots of online courses that may interest you, that have lifetime access.

A maker, writer, textile artist & creative connector.

My ethos is about slowing down, creating intentionally & gently guiding creatives (that’s you!) on how to listen to your inner whisper. I work with an innate sense of just trying something; mistakes & brilliant results come side-by-side.

I work with natural plant dyes, gathering flowers, leaves, bark and berries from my garden and surrounding landscape, to create colour onto cloth, yarn and paper. With these landscape colours as my guide, I sew, stitch, quilt, weave and create works that speak of my inner stories, memories, loss & sadness, as well as joys & small simple moments.

I live in the rainforest in Northern NSW, Australia with my husband and three creative (messy!) children.

I teach online workshops, coach creatives, write, photograph and gather community through my online Stitch Circle.
