Since then, the quilts I’ve made are works of art, expressing my own story in textiles, while also being a usable heirloom. I will give you the skills, but more importantly the courage, to create a quilt.

I share a view into my own quilts, where you can learn as if you're beside me at my sewing table. Using many different quilts and processes as examples you'll gain an insight into the way I make my quilts, while learning techniques to create your own.

You'll learn how I approach colour, pattern & print in my work. I often create my quilts with my own naturally dyed fabrics, second-hand fabric and small scraps.

I'm a textile artist and creative maker, specialising in working with intuition to create beautiful, special, unique fabric pieces that sing of your own inner whisper. 

 Once upon a time I looked at blogs sharing quilt patterns and felt scared that I wouldn't be able to make the perfect 1/8" seam allowances they were talking about. So - I stopped myself from making a quilt! 

 One day I realised that limiting thought meant I wasn't making the usable huggable textile heirlooms I wanted to make. In all my other creative work I just do the thing. Why not with my quilting. 

 That's when I started my first Fear-Less Quilt. I had the fear, but I allowed courage to be my guide to make the wonky, imperfect "this is me" quilt!
